Residency at the Ukaria Cultural Centre

Creative development of So Long Country at Ukaria Cultural Centre, South Australia.

 

Speak Percussion at Ukaria Residency

This October, Speak Percussion spent two weeks in the stunning Adelaide Hills on residency at the Ukaria Cultural Centre, South Australia developing it’s new work So Long Country.

Speak was joined by country guitarist Derick Danker, singer and bass player Megan Sarmardin, percussionist Bree van Reyk, master of Kelantan music Kamrul Hussin and composer Thomas Meadowcroft. So Long Country was presented as a work in progress at the OzAsia Festival.
